STMC30 - Happy Halloween!

Hi Friends! It's time for another fabulous Stampendous Saturday Sketch Challenge. This week I am your host and I had the perfect stamp set in mind when creating this sketch. This little vampire is too cute and very popular. I have seen him everywhere! He belongs to the spooky and sweet - Costume Kids set. I colored him up with Copics and cut him out to give him some dimension. I love that he is surrounded by bats. This wonderful Echo Park patterned paper went perfectly with this image. I added some Jolee's All That Bling star stickers for sparkle. I really hope you love this week's challenge and can play along with us for a chance to win a sweet prize from Stampendous. You can find the challenge rules here and there is even more exciting Stampendous news! Win... Without Warning!!! Stampendous is looking for blog posts featuring their amazing products and selecting a winner to award with free stamps! How cool is that? You can find all the details here along with the first winner. Stampendous is just the best! Have fun and ink up those Stampendous stamps! I can't wait to see who the next winner will be!

Thanks for visiting and Have a Happy Halloween!

TE Blast from the Past Blog Hop!

Hola Amigas! Happy Friday! Looking forward to the weekend and so happy to get it started with the Taylored Expressions Blast from the Past Blog Hop! The challenge for today's hop was to create Christmas / Holiday card, so I had to use my favorite Snowman Cuppie. This cutie is from the wonderful Home Sweet Home set. So you know I am a big Cuppie fan, but did you know I am also a big Bakerella fan too. She also loves Cuppie, so I took him along with me to her book signing event. I was so thrilled to see our pic here. Cuppie looks great! Cuppie is so fun and just the perfect sweet image for your Christmas / Holiday cards. I used some colorful Echo Paper patterned paper and added some sparkle with snowflakes covered with Stardust Stickles and glitter buttons! Bling! Bling! I know you can't wait to see the rest of the amazing hoppers. Be sure to leave them some love.

Thanks for visiting and have a splendid day!

TESC131 - Let's "Hang Out"

Hi Friends! Sorry I am playing along with this week's Taylored Expressions Challenge 131 so late. I caught a cold and it's honestly taken me 3 days to finish this card. I couldn't work on it more than a few minutes at a time, so I kept working on it bit by bit. I am so happy I got to finish it. I used the spooky and sweet Cling Hang Out Spider set by Stampendous along with some of my favorite Halloween patterned paper by Bo Bunny. I started off by paper piecing the background of the spider image by stamping the image onto some green patterned paper. I stamped the image 2 more times on white cardstock. The first stamped image was used to color the spider and candy corn. The second stamped image was used as my main image layer. I layered the green cut out of patterned paper and then added the colored/ cut spider and candy corn with 3D foam tape. I hope you like it and can play along with this week's sketch. Just a reminder there is another fabulous Blast from the Past blog hop coming up on October 22nd. If you would like to join in on the fun just click on the badge on my sidebar for all the details.

Just A Blog Hop!

Welcome to Just A Blog Hop! We were invited to put aside all of our stamping oriented obligations and deadlines and create something just for fun. The hop guidelines were simple: choose a challenge to play and choose either a new uninked stamp or an old favorite, create a card and mail it to someone. What could be better to celebrate World Card Making Day? If you arrived here from the blog of the fabulous Rosie Hughes then you are on the right track. I you would like to start from the beginning then hop on over to Jami Sibley's amazing blog. I chose to play with along with the fun ESS Sketchy Thursday 102 using this wonderful new stamp set from Waltzing Mouse called Bountiful Baskets Additions. I am so happy it's October. I love the Fall and I love shopping for pumpkins to decorate the house. I love the sentiment... Let us give thanks. I am so thankful I have been blessed with so many wonderful friends and this one is going out to one of them. I hope you spend your World Card Making Day just having some fun with all your favorite stamps. I know I will! The Just A Blog Hop fun continues onto the blog of the super talented Sankari Wegman. Be sure to get your stamps out and just have FUN!!!

Thanks for visiting and Happy World Cardmaking Day!!!!!!!!!!

TESC130 - HOPE

Happy October! Today's Taylored Expressions Sketch Challenge card was made in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month. I have family and friends who have survived breast cancer. I am very grateful to have these amazing ladies in my life. They are truly inspiring. My card features the Stampendous - Ribbon Hope Perfectly Clear Stamp Set. I started by creating my fan fold flower following this SCS tutorial. I then stamped the ribbon image onto Bo Bunny Double Dot patterned paper, cut out the image and added it to the center of my flower. I created my layers using my favorite My Mind's Eye patterned paper and stamped the HOPE sentiment with Versafine Onyx Black ink. I hope you enjoy playing with this week's sketch. It was designed by our very own Rosie Hughes. We all hope you can take some time out to play along with us. We look forward to seeing your creations and Taylor will be looking for her Top Crops too. Be sure to visit Taylor on Monday as Taylored Expressions will begin their Sneak Peeks for their October release. I can't wait to see what will be coming out!
