Elzybells Release Day!

Hi Friends! It's Elzybells Release Day! Woo Hoo! These beautiful floral stamps are now available!!! Today I bring you cards featuring Tags - Floral Rectangles. It's amazing how many different looks you can achieve with the Floral Fervour & Tags - Floral Rectangles set. On the first card I used a floral from the Floral Fervour set and stamped it in Versamark ink onto the yellow cardstock. I added the sentiment from Tags - Floral Rectangles in Chocolate Brownie pigment ink over the watermark floral images. On the second card, I stamped the floral tag & sentiment in Chocolate Brownie. I stamped a floral image from Floral Fervour in Versamark ink to create the background on the kraft cardstock base. I also added the same floral image in coral over the sentiment. So easy to create your own pretty backgrounds with these floral images.

I hope you have enjoyed the Sneak Peeks this week. The rest of the Design Team has some more to show you as well, so be sure to stop by and visit them:

Elzybells Sneak Peeks - Day 3

Happy Wednesday! It's Day 3 of Elzybells Sneak Peeks and I am so excited to bring you some more cards created using the beautiful Floral Fervour and Fervour Sentiments. My first card was inspired by my home state of California. I am a true California girl and love our state flower, the California Poppy. It's common to see these beauties in large fields all over California. The sea of orange and yellow is truly a vision. My second card was inspired by my love of purple. It's my favorite color and I just don't use it enough in card making. The purple flowers came out so delicate and I love that look. I hope you have enjoyed all the different sneak peeks of these two incredible sets. Tomorrow is Release Day and I will be back to show off another new set, Tags - Floral Rectangles.

Please be sure to visit the rest of the Design Team and get a Sneak Peek of Fanciful Florals:

Elzybells Sneak Peeks - Day 2

Hello Friends! Welcome to Day 2 of the Elzybells Sneak Peeks. As I continue to show you sneak peeks of the Floral Fervour & Fervour Sentiments, please be sure to visit the rest of the Design Team for sneak peeks of Tags - Floral Circles. Well I didn't want to miss out on the fun of making tags with them, so I created one using the Floral Fervour set to go along with my card. If friends were flowers is one of my all time favorite sentiments. I wanted the white flowers to really pop, so I chose to stamp the flowers in Sugar Candy pigment ink on kraft cardstock. I also created some background paper by stamping a few different floral images on the yellow cardstock in Versamark ink. I added buttons to bring out the center of the flowers and added some pretty ribbons. I hope you are loving the new Floral Fervour & Fervour Sentiments. They are filled with so many images and I will be back tomorrow to show you even more.

Elzybells Sneak Peeks - Floral Fervour & Fervour Sentiments

Hi Pals! It's getting close to another Elzybells Release! Yippee! So today I bring you a sneak peak of Floral Fervour & Fervour Sentiments. Floral Fervour is filled with several beautiful floral images. I loved playing with these sets since they compliment each other so perfectly. It was difficult to choose which floral image to use. They are all so pretty. I chose these two images because I wanted to use a pretty sunny yellow since it has been beautiful outside lately. I also love using Colour Co-ordinates products. For these projects I reached for my favorite color Chocolate Brownie for the textured cardstock and buttons. It's nice to have a pretty floral set to go to time and time again. I know this one will be that set for me.

Please be sure to stop by and visit the rest of the Design Team to see what floral beauties they have created:

TESC101 - Dragonfly Card Drive

Happy Friday Friends! Today's Taylored Expressions Sketch Challenge is a very special one.
Taylor is kicking off a card drive today to benefit the Neo-natal Unit at Sanford Medical Center in Sioux Falls SD. Taylor has both a friend and a sister-in-law who work as labor and delivery nurses at SMC where they use the dragonfly as a symbol of hope for families who have lost a child during delivery or in the early stages of life and they have requested hand-made cards featuring dragonfly images. This was one of the driving forces behind the design of Discover Your Wings.

And now we need your help. Would you please consider making and donating some cards that feature a dragonfly? You may use stamps from any company - they do not need to be from TE. As a thank you for participating Taylor will enter your name into a drawing for a $50 gift certificate to the TE Store. You can get the full details here at Taylor's Blog. So in honor of TESC101 - Dragonfly Card Drive, I created this bright card in hopes to bring a little comfort to a family. This is truly a wonderful cause to participate in and I am glad to be a part of this amazing card drive. To be able to do something we love and share it with others is a true gift.

We hope you will all be able to participate. Please be sure to visit the rest of the TESC Sketch Crew for their beautiful Dragonfly creations:

Elzybells Challenge 37 - Thinking of Moo!

Hi Friends! It's Thursday and time for another Elzybells Challenge! Our last challenge was so much fun because I got to eat the rest of the left over candy. LOL! This week's challenge is still sweet besides the lack of candy. The challenge is to make a card with more than one fold. I just realized I have never posted a multi fold card. So it was so fun doing something new! I had a great time making this gate fold card. I got to ink up the adorable Elzybells S-moo-ches clear set. These cow images are so cute and the sentiments match perfectly. I used Chocolate Brownie textured cardstock for the base and layered it with October Afternoon Farm Fresh patterned paper. I added some Antique Linen distress ink to give it a more vintage feel and added a big red bow to help keep the card closed. I love Colour Co-ordinates buttons, so I had to add this cute flower button in Chocolate Brownie to finish the card.
We would love for you to play along with us! Be sure to stop by and visit the rest of the Design team to see their wonderful multi fold card creations:

Happy Valentine's Day!

Happy Valentine's Day Sweet Friends! Today's card is for My Valentine - My Sweet Hubby! As my brother would say ... "I am living the dream!" Well with Mike as my hubby, I am! He is so wonderful, loving and kind. He treats me like a princess and is incredibly supportive of me. He may find himself stepping on buttons, his computer desk filled with stamps, paper, dies & Copics or even being woken up from a dead sleep to look at a card. Through all of that he still loves me and supports my love of paper crafting! So it's no wonder that today's card is just for him. He has my heart, a Reese's peanut butter heart and a whole lot of paper crafting stuff in his office. *wink*

Have a wonderfully sweet day and thanks for visiting me!!!

Stampendous Valentines!

Hi ya buddies! It's finally Saturday and the long weekend! I was trying to stay up late last night to watch all of the opening ceremonies for the Olympics. I lasted to about 9:30pm and passed out on the couch. That tells you I am not 20 anymore. LOL! I woke up to see the very end and stayed up to stamp these cards below for my brother. He wanted me to make him a special Valentine for him to give to his sweetie. He originally wanted a traditional pink & red valentine, but I really felt like coloring so I made another card just for fun. My hubby & BFF looked at both cards today and while they liked them both. They both had the same reaction to the bee card. This is the one! I wasn't quite sure which my brother would prefer and I was secretly hoping he would choose the original one he wanted. Well luck would have it, he wanted the bee card! Oh no! LOL! I really was more than delighted to give it to him for my future SIL. Just makes me happy to know he liked it so much! Hopefully I can stay up past 9:30 tonight to stamp some more Valentines. So before I start getting sleepy let me tell ya about these cards. I love Bo Bunny Double Dot paper and I used it for the background on both cards. The first Valentine was simple. Just simply stamping the sentiment and adding some color. I punched out the hearts from the same pink Bo Bunny Double Dot paper as the background. I then colored the dots with the bullet tip of my Copic marker. I added some additional dots to the hearts with a white gel pen and also around the red scallop matting. I popped up the hearts and main image with 3D Foam tape and added a sweet red bow below. To make things easy I decided to use the same exact layout on the second card. The only difference was there was more coloring and stamping done on this one. I stamped the heart background on top of the Bo Bunny Double Dot paper and I was so happy with how it turned out. I also added the sentiment to the bottom of card.

Thanks for visiting me today! Hope you liked these cards and I hope you have a fabulous night!

TESC99 - We are back!

Hello Friends! It's great to be back with another terrific Taylored Expressions Sketch Challenge. We took a little break due to CHA. I was very lucky to be able to attend CHA with the Stampendous team and had a great time doing make and takes with customers. It was so fun to meet so many of you and I hope you had a great time as well. It was also amazing to meet some members of the TESC Crew for the very first time. I hope to get all my CHA photos up soon. I took a ton of photos, so I may have to do some type of slide show for you all to see. It's great to get back into the swing of things and I love creating cards with the TE Sketches. I made this sweet Valentine card for TESC99 using one of my favorite Changito stamps . I paper pieced the heart balloon with Pink Paislee patterned paper and added a strip of the same paper as the accent. I just love the fun colors and cute pattern of this paper. I also added a sun with clouds next to the main image showing that Changito is on Cloud 9 with his sweetie.

Hope to see you all playing along with the TESC crew. We missed playing with you the last couple of weeks, so let's get the fun started. Hop on over and visit the rest of the TESC crew to see their fab creations:

Elzybells Challenge 36 - Valentine Treat!

Howdy! I'm back with another Elzybells Challenge! This time we are challenging you all to make a special Valentine treat for someone. I have been wanting to make this cute Treat Bag Cover I saw on SCS, so I thought this challenge was a perfect time to make one. This little treat holder came along so quickly. I am going to be mass producing these for my co-workers, so I kept the design clean, simple and cute. I have to say using the Colour Co-ordinates line by Elzybells was what really made these a breeze. I used the Pink Lemonade textured cardstock for the treat base. I then stamped the darling heart image (Heartstrings) with Pink Lemonade pigment ink on Whipped Cream textured cardstock. I added the sentiment (Tags-Valentine) with Chocolate Brownie pigment ink and layered the main image on Chocolate Brownie & Pink Lemonade textured cardstock. I added a bow and embellished with pretty Pink Lemonade buttons. Aren't you just loving Colour Co-ordinates? Well I got great news! Elzybells has extended their special offer on Colour Co-ordinates until midnight February 7th.
I hope you all get a chance to play along with us. Be sure to stop by and visit the rest of the Design Team to see their sweet creations:
